In our study today we look at Cains incredible self loathing attitude as well as his murderous heart. God after asking Cain "Why are you angry" He let's Cain know if he does not get a hold of his anger it will get a hold of him. That is precisely what happens. Cain in a fit of rage kills his brother, lies to God and then smarts off to Him. Sin has a way of getting a grip on us and causes us to do terrible things. God warned Cain "if you do well you will be accepted." Cain comes to the end and is cast out as a vagabond.
