Hello World!
We are finally here! The day has come when we get to sit back now after much prayer, counsel, planning, research and just hours & hours of tweaking main frames & templates to say “Hello World.” Connect2.life has arrived finally. So just what is Connect2.life you ask? Through much wisdom seeking & prayer asking God “what do you have for us now?” He has shown us the way that my wife Linda and I are to continue to use the gifts that He has given us. This brings us to this new site, Connect2.life which is a “Helps” Ministry.
Question: “What is the spiritual gift of helps?”
Answer: The spiritual gift of helps is found in one of the spiritual gifts lists in the Bible. The Greek word translated “helps” in 1 Corinthians 12:28 is found only there in the New Testament; therefore, the exact meaning of the gift of helps is somewhat obscure. The word translated “helps” means literally “to relieve, succor, participate in, and/or support.” Those with the gift of helps are those who can aid or render assistance to others in the church with compassion and grace. This gift has a broad range of applications, from helping individuals with daily chores to assisting in the administration of the affairs of the church.
Connect2.life has been designed as a “Helps” Ministry in conjunction with several other gifts like administration, counseling, consulting, organization as well as additional abilities that allows us to minister to the needs of Gods people both in and outside the church walls.
In our combined 30+ years of experience in various forms of ministry the Lord has developed in us, many roles and aspects of ministry that we can share, train & teach others who feel called to specific areas of ministry either in their local church or outside of it.
The one thing that we have experienced in any ministry that the Lord has directed us in is that Methods can change but the Message stays the same. The Message is the Gospel of Christ where we find peace, healing, forgiveness and most importantly the Love that God has poured out to His people.
It is love that brings about “Helps” for the body of Christ but not just there! It is also designed to go into “all the nations” including our communities. Connect2.life is just exactly that! Connecting others to a life that can bring healing , help & peace where there may have been an absence of it. This is done in many different forms and avenues based on the specific need.
We are excited to see where God takes this new “Adventure of Faith” we are about to begin and look forward to being available to those who may need a “Helping” hand.
