Paul refuses the requests of his friends to avoid Jerusalem because of Agabus's prophesy that he would be put in chains. Upon arrival to Jerusalem he is greeted by friends and shares all that God had done in Asia Minor. He then would be warned of the Jewish mob who was after him. Often times God allows things that we didn't plan on to further His kingdom. Like the Apostle Paul we are to look to Jesus for everything that comes our way.
